Beacon-based location – lessons learned
This article describes our experience of the indoor positioning project based on beacon signals (Bluetooth Low Energy). The project was completed for one of the largest passenger facility in Poland, which handles over 12 million passengers a year. It is one of the largest implementations of this type in Poland because it concerns passengers positioning on the basis of 1,500 beacons (BLE) in the public place exceeding 100 000 sqm.
